Ethics in Psychology CPD

Ethics is blurrier than fiction: Informed Consent

Description
The aim of this course is to demonstrate the different facets and nuances related to individuals giving consent to share their personal information with other individuals or organisations. Informed consent means that sufficient information is provided to the individual to make an informed decision, but that may not always be the case. Also, the individual does not always understand the information they are consenting to share, or the implications of that information. The movie “The Circle” is used to discuss this concept.
